The Texas Lottery has generated more than $13 billion towards the Foundation School Fund, the primary source of state funding for school districts within theLoneStarState.

So using gaming and games of chance clearly has a history with helping to support childhood education and that is the case for the Ka-Ching Fling 2012, a fundraising event to support The J Early Childhood Center taking place Saturday, Feb. 11.

A branch of the Jewish Community Center of Dallas, it’s been a part of children’s upbringing over the past century and you can help it continue by becoming a ‘player’ at Ka-Ching.

There will be cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, a silent auction and other fabulous prizes. There will be plenty of casino games and a poker tournament with the purchase of a $100 ‘High Roller’ ticket.
